Synopsis
To enter the hidden domain of the Shiren is to disappear from view, while in plain sight. Beautiful and skilled expert Lauren Makenzie is swept into this realm and becomes a chess piece used by the antagonist lords of this world. She and others learn first hand, of the telepathically and sorcerous Shiren, and of their vampirish domains. Lauren learns that her greatest perceived enemy becomes her, as well as thousands of others, only chance for survival.

About the Author
Rene H. Davidsohn once worked as a research scientist, collecting samples from the sea floor off remote islands of the Bahamas, as well as investigating samples delivered from the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. Currently Davidsohn is living in the US with two demanding dogs - the fuzzy pound puppy CH whose greatest friend and follower, is the German Shepherd Karen.
