About the Author:
Neil Friedman has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Harvard University. He learned focusing from Gene Gendlin in 1974 and has been practicing it, writing about it, and teaching it ever since. Neil does therapy, teaches, leads workshops, and writes. For three years he was co-director of Spring Hill Conference Center in Ashby, Massachusetts. For seventeen years he was a member of the Opening the Heart workshop staff. He is a certifying coordinator for the Focusing Institute
