About the Author:
Dr. Etheridge has taught at several colleges and universities, the last being the University of California at Irvine as a medical psychologist. She is well known for her workshops sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Studies, which she founded. She authored Headstart in Action during the 1960's, translated into Spanish and Portuguese for South American Readers. She developed a psychological screening test for pre-school children.
With her spiritual director, Reverend Robert Cornelison, she founded a non-profit religious organization, An Order of Healers: A Monastery without Walls, and serves as Abbas, giving workshops, retreats and spiritual direction.
She has two grown children, reads science fiction and goes into the wilderness for recreation. And she is still asking questions.
