About the Author

Jim "Rip" Rippy spent 40 years in a leadership role. His career started as a management trainee and ended when he retired as Senior Vice-President. His many assignments in both domestic and international operations created the passionate beliefs found in his book. The many years of working closely with the people who work in our factories, technical centers and offices have given him a keen insight into the real world of leadership. He has been an ardent student of leadership and management for many years. The constant comparison of theory versus reality has formed his strong beliefs.
