About the Author

William P. Robertson and David Rimer were teaching colleagues at Bradford Area High School in Bradford, Pennsylvania, before joining forces to write historical fiction. Robertson, an established poet and storyteller, recognized a need for more structure to his work, so he called upon Rimer's technical writing expertise when he began his first novel. The duo's partnership worked so well that they went on to write a seven-novel series about the 42nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, also known as the Bucktails of Civil War fame. Robertson and Rimer then penned two French and Indian War adventures set in the wilderness of their home state. Along the way, the authors have preserved the history of Pennsylvania for another generation of readers while establishing a reputation for realistic, hard-hitting fiction that's easy to read and loaded with action.
