About the Author

William P. Robertson and David Rimer were teaching colleagues at Bradford Area High School in Bradford, Pennsylvania, before joining forces in the late 1990's to write historical fiction. Robertson, an established poet and freelance writer, recognized a need for more structure to his work, so he called upon Rimer's technical writing expertise when he began his first novel. The duo's partnership worked so well that they went on to write a seven-novel series about the 42nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, also known as the Bucktails of Civil War fame. Robertson and Rimer then penned two French and Indian War adventures set in the wilderness of their home state.
