About the Author
The author is a native German who grew up in a large business household. Working in the family business was mandatory, regardless of her own interests or abilities. At thirty-five she went to college to study psychology and English, a uniquely American opportunity for which she is eternally grateful. She was married to a former GI, divorced, then married an Ethiopian, and raised two sets of children. Her international family connections have broadened her outlook on life and the human condition. All her work essays, articles, adult/children's fiction and poetry have a metaphysical touch.
