About the Author

Kathleen Rowley is a writer and artist who has worked in education for twenty years. She taught fine art at the University of Hawaii, worked as a program coordinator at a University of California campus, and was a grant writer at a community college. Since 2007, she has worked with doctoral students as a coach and editor. Dr. Rowley has a doctorate from the University of La Vernes School of Education and Organizational Leadership, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii. She lives in Banning, California, with her two dogs, Tira and Half.
