Charles E. Clevenger is a lifelong resident of the beautiful hill country of Southern Ohio. The foothills of the Appalachian Mountainsthe landscape, the people and the culturehave all had a strong influence upon how he sees his world. As a poet, writer, and photographer, Charlies work has frequently been published in the Readers Digest publications Country Magazine and Country Extra, Ohios Over the Back Fence Magazine, and the Salesian Missions Inspirational Books series. He is a member and regular contributor to the Phoenix Writers Group. His poetry and photographic work are well known and collected throughout the Appalachian foothills region. An avid outdoor color photographer, Charlie also enjoys the discipline of black-and-white photography and the creative aspects of the darkroom.
