John Mingo has fly-fished for trout in England, Austria, New Zealand, Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, and in more than 30 U.S. states. He has spent over 1000 days on the Montana Spring Creeks, and published several articles in Fly Fisherman magazine on the subject. When he's not fishing, his day job is as an expert on the regulation of risk in banking. He has been a Senior Advisor to the Federal Reserve Board, and a Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. He holds a B.A. in economics from Yale, and a Ph.D., also in economics, from Brown.
