Ricky Thompson was born in Selmer, Tennessee in 1954. He began hunting with his older two brothers at the age of six with his B B gun. McNairy County is located right between the Mississippi and Tennessee Rivers. There was plenty of Deer and Turkeys to hunt in this area as well as some of the best fishing anywhere. So this is one reason Ricky never left this area. He married his high school sweetheart and they raised three children Heather, Joshua, and Casey. Writing is something I always wanted to do. So, writing about hunting and sharing the stories about the hunts is the best way I can express myself.
