About the Author

BRUCE YANDLE is Alumni Professor of Economics at Clemson University. He coedited Politicians, Bureaucracy and the Public Interest, Public Choice: An Inside View of the F.T.C., The Strategic Use of Regulation for Anticompetitive Purposes, and Benefit-Cost Analyses of Social Regulation. Yandle wrote Labor and Property Rights in California Agriculture: An Economic Analysis of the CALRA, Managing Personal Finance, and Environmental Use and the Market. In addition, he has written numerous articles published in Public Choice, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, and Quarterly Review of Economics and Business, among other publications.
