Synopsis
In the wake of the peace accord between the Republic of Cinnabar and the Alliance, former warriors Lt. Daniel Leary and Signals Officer Adele Mundy make a living escorting wealthy nobles on an expedition to a remote section of the universe and find themselves taking on winged dragons, jealous lovers, an enigmatic oracle, and a deadly Alliance conspiracy.

About the Author
David Drake is an American author of science fiction and fantasy literature. A Vietnam War veteran who has worked as a lawyer, he is now one of the major authors of the military science fiction genre.
