Reviews

People are dying horribly in New York, and many seem to be connected to a serial killer put away by Prosecutor Butch Karp. But the killer has just died in prison--hasn't he? Subplots abound and might confuse in this abridged version. Lee Sellars helps out by individualizing even minor characters. He also has a good grip on Karp's weird family--the do-gooder daughter; the adolescent twin boys, one of whom is blind; and, above all, Marlene, the foul-mouthed here-today-gone-tomorrow wife. His Middle Eastern accent is suspect, but his Italian is on target. The latest of Karp's ongoing adventures is sure to please fans of the series, as well as make some new converts.
