Jak II, the sequel to the 2001 hit Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, has a new theme--revenge. The story begins as the two heroes stumble upon an energy portal which propels them hundreds of years into the future in a foreign city ruled by a baron. Jak is immediately captured and thrown in jail by the baron's henchmen, where experiments are conducted on him. After two years in captivity, Jak escapes with Daxter's help and plots revenge on the baron. The game is a true plot-driven adventure, where every mission has a direct effect on the storyline. With stunning graphics and animations, Jak II takes gamers on a journey through an enormous mystical world. The visual impact and detail to both the environments and the characters is apparent. In addition, multiple weapons have been added that can be used anytime, and numerous power-ups are in every location. The game also features over one hour of cool cinematic animations.
