Synopsis
The Freewheelers - Gina, Mandy and Claire - are a bicycle gang with just one thing missing - bikes! When they discover that a little girl has been kidnapped in their home town, with a £1000 reward for her rescue, it seems like their chance for an adventure and at the same time earn the bike money they need. But, as usual with their plans, things don't go as they expect and before they know it they are freewheeling into more trouble than they ever imagined. Will their luck make everything turn out all right in the end?

About the Author
Eric Johns lives in Dorset, which is the fictionalized background to several of his books, including Trip of a Lifetime. He has worked as a bank clerk, soldier, grapepicker, interpreter, taxi-driver, postman, civil servant and salesman, and excuses his varied CV by claiming that a writer needs wide experience. When not writing, he divides his time between watchkeeping in a cliff-top lookout and beachcombing with his dog. Married with three children, he is the author of several children's stories, including Capture by Aliens! My Life as a Movie Hero and After the End of the World.
