His later work has moved on to the terrain of hybridity, identity, Occidentalism, race relations. multiculturalism and the politics of difference. About the Author

Chris Rojek is Professor of Sociology & Culture, Nottingham Trent University. He is the author of many books on leisure, social theory and culture, the most recent of which was Celebrity (2001).
