About the Author:
Elizabeth Provost lives in Modesto, California, with her husband, Richard. She has three grown-up children and two grandchildren. Ten Little Sleepyheads is her first book. Donald Saaf is the illustrator of many highly acclaimed books for children, including Elemenopeo by Harriet Ziefert. He lives in Vermont with his family.

The thickly applied materials result in a few slightly muddied images, but children will easily be won over by the sleepy-eyed, grinning insects, charmingly clad in patterned suits, snuggled into cozy leaf beds, and surrounded by glorious flowers.
