Grade 3-5?Parker offers bits of animal trivia, accompanied by garish watercolor cartoons. Loosely organized around a series of "what if" questions, the book poses funny, whimsical, and sometimes interesting scenarios, but presents no real picture of the creatures or their habitats. Report writers will definitely need to look elsewhere. Browsers will be better served by the great photography of the "Nature Watch" series (Carolrhoda) or by titles published by the Sierra Club or the National Geographic Society.?Ellen M.
