A young geography series which uses an everyday journey to explore geographical features and simple map skills. Each book takes a form of transport (see above) and follows a family on the journey. Different families are used in each book. The book follows the journey from start to finish through simple text, photographs and maps. The whole journey is shown on a map at the end of the book, and sections of this map are given throughout to plot the journey. Extra maps are given in separate panels for further information and to show real adult maps. At the back of the book the children are given some simple activities including suggestions for making their own maps. All the journeys are UK based.
