Synopsis
The moving love stories of a mother and daughter, played out against the turbulent backdrop of World War Two For years, Queenie and her daughter Laura have had to protect each other from Jock Maclaren's violent temper. In 1940 the compulsory evacuation of all women and children from the Maclaren's homeland, Gibraltar, offers the perfect chance to escape him.
