Award-winning author Adele Geras spent much of her childhood moving from place to place. A graduate ofCentral St Martin's Illustration course, her editorial work under the namesof Nora Charles and Walshworks includes commissions from the Guardian, (towhich she contributed a strip cartoon throughout 1999) Elle, The SundayTimes and the Wall Street Journal. Joanna also works for animators BermudaShorts creating adverts and indents for TV and the internet.
