About the Author
Hazel Martell has written many history books for young people. She has an MA in history, and has worked as a librarian in schools and public libraries. She lives in Yorkshire and is interested in archaeology and travelling to unusual places. Her book 'What Do We Know About: Celts?' was short-listed for Stockton-on-Tees' Book of the Year Competition and was runner-up for the TES Junior Information Book Award.

Subsequent two-to four-page sections provide specifics about clothing, food, lifestyle, housing, and art for each group, mentioning particular tribes that occupied the area. Numerous illustrations clearly show details of community development, housing styles, pottery designs, clothing, implements, and sacred objects.
