"This wonderful panoramic novel sweeps you up and carries you along to the end. Lovely!" Katie Fforde Some of Holly Noble's most precious memories are of summers spent with her Aunt Tony, a reclusive painter. When Tony dies, Holly returns to claim her inheritance, but what she finds in the attic changes her life. A series of paintings of the famous opera singer Blaise Fougere hints at a secret love affair. Blaise's arrogant nephew, Taylor Hartman, refuses to believe his uncle is the subject of the paintings and tries to stop Holly exhibiting them, but as each canvas is hung the colour, the passion and the beauty of the paintings draw Taylor and Holly ever closer.
