This edition updates and expands on the earlier editions. It is aimed at the advanced undergraduate, graduate student, and professional speech-language pathologist who wish a readable introduction to the neurology of speech and language mechanisms in children and adults. It has proved to be a reader-friendly textbook with a large number of practical illustrations.The Third Edition includes updated flow charts of the corticobulbar and sensory tracts. Information on cortical neurology, evoked electrical potentials, dementia, and the right hemisphere has been updated. Illustrations of a CT scan and MRI scan are included.
