About the Author:
Brian Godward ia an architect and photographer who has recently retired after a career in architecture and planning with Leeds City, Bradford City and Harrogate Borough Councils. He was also a visiting lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University's Urban Studies department and is well known in Yorkshire for his photographic lectures on a variety of subjects. Brian is author of five books about Leeds' local history, including Leeds Heritage Trust and Leeds Civic Pride Trail.
