About the Author:
ROBERT KERSHAW is a graduate of Reading University and joined the Parachute Regiment in 1973. After over thirty years in the army, serving in Northern Ireland, the First Gulf War and Bosnia, he retired to become a full-time military history author as well as a consultant military analyst in 2006.
