Synopsis
The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) is the senior professional body in the UK concerned solely with all aspects of tax. It is multi-disciplinary with a membership broadly based across the professions and across occupations in industry, commerce, the public sector and the taxation authorities. By setting the highest standards of excellence and integrity the institute aims to be the leading UK body for tax professionals. The Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) student will need to sit an awareness paper, two advisory papers and an application and interaction paper. The papers can be sat individually or in any combinations. In addition two one hour e-assessments must be passed.
