Synopsis
Frankie Genno is a small-time criminal, a drug dealer with links to some serious players in the Chicago underworld. He has dreams of propelling himself into the big league, dreams which lead him to plan a bank heist. It should be easy money.
Except his girlfriend, Anne Stratton, turns stoolie and Genno ends up behind bars after murdering an off duty cop when the heist goes horribly wrong. Genno dreams of getting revenge on Anne, no matter how long it takes.
Anne is placed in the Witness Protection Program (WITSEC) and relocated to New Orleans, together with a new identity and the chance to start her life over. Seventeen years on, she's now a successful businesswoman, married with a fifteen-year-old daughter. But Genno is never far from her thoughts and when her contact in the WITSEC Program is found murdered, and all his files stolen, she has to face up to her worst fears. Genno has found her again.
And, when Genno breaks out of jail, she knows it will only be a matter of time before he comes after her and her family ...

About the Author
Alastair MacNeill was born in Scotland in 1960. When he was six years old his family moved to South Africa, where he lived until returning to the UK in 1985. He has published seven novels based on Alistair MacLean's storylines. His three most recent novels, Moonblood, Double-Blind and Damage Control, are available in paperback.
