Do people fall in love at art exhibitions? Would a wife who lost her spectacles recognise her husband? How pleased would you be if your parents and in-laws began to develop a relationship of their own? These and other questions - about love, sex and relationships are answered with shrewd wit in Kate Pullinger's new collection of stories. And yet a darker thread runs through this book via stories that explore prison life, crimes of passion and the strange and tragic circumstances of other people's lives.
