The extraordinary photographs showcased in Indiana 24/7 are an extension of the America 24/7 project, an unprecedented digital photography venture that harnessed the talents of more than 25,000 local photographers in all 50 states. This remarkable book showcases 595 images adding up to a panoramic view of life across the Hoosier State. You ll discover heartwarming photographs that perfectly capture the spirit of the state, with images of: Spring rains pushing the Ohio River into a deserted campground in Evansville A farm boy waking up early to muck out the barn in Wadesville A Buddhist monk haggling with a Fort Wayne car salesman The town of Jasper coming together at a candlelight vigil for its fallen police officers The sun sinking into Lake Michigan And more! The crossroads of America, Indiana is the heart of the Heartland home to the Indy 500, Cole Porter, and the Wabash cannonball. It s also some kind of rolling, wooded shrine to the sport of basketball. In image after image, the Hoosier spirit leaps up off the page of Indiana 24/7.
