Taken from Chapter 6: F is for firefighters Firefighters put out fires in homes, other buildings, forests, and at car accidents. They rescue people and animals that are trapped by a fire. The smoke and flames from fires are very dangerous. Firefighters risk their lives every time they go to work. Their job takes bravery and special training.
