Synopsis
Ruby Raccoon wants to bake a cake, but she doesn't know how. Her friends offer some interesting "I always enjoy snails," says Dan Duck; "Don't forget wiggly worms," says Jenny Wren. Ruby listens carefully to her friends, but when she tries to mix their advice all together, the results are rather surprising.

About the Author
Susan Hill has written two other stories about Ruby Raccoon: Ruby Bakes a Cake and Ruby Paints a Picture. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two daughters.
In addition to the books about Ruby, Margie Moore has illustrated Stephanie S. Tolan's Bartholomew's Blessing. She and her family live on the New Jersey shore.
