Dr. Garza received his Counseling Psychology doctoral degree from Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas. For over 25 years, Dr. Garza operated a private consulting and psychotherapy practice. He is currently a full-time psychology professor in the Dallas County Community College District, teaching among other courses a class he originated, called Setting Life Goals. He is a past president of the Dallas Tennis Association, past president of the Dallas Business Association, past president of Fathers for Equal Rights, and has just recently started a regional chapter for Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder in the Dallas area. His passion is tennis, where he has a goal of winning a national championship.
