The Ballards provide transition consulting and educational services to individuals and couples, using the Turning Points Learning System, which they designed. They also are working with Turning Points Inc., which is converting the learning system into a PBS Adult Learning Service teleWeb seminar experience for corporate, community and individual use.Phoebe Ballard is a trained psychotherapist who served for ten years as program director for Wainwright House in Rye, NY, a graduate level educational institution specializing in human development. She has served on the Board of the Greenwich Arts Council and is a member of the National League of American Pen Women. She co-authored Beating the Age Game: Redefining Retirement with her husband. Mrs. Ballard has a BA in Psychology and Religion from the State University of New York at Purchase and in 1997 received the Northfield Mount Hermon Community Service Award.An experienced professional in both energy economics and human resources, Jack Ballard was associated for 38 years with the foreign operations of Mobil Oil. He held senior executive positions in Mobil affiliates and regional companies all over the world. For two years, Mr. Ballard was loaned by Mobil to the New York Urban Coalition where he was responsible for personnel and finance. He has a BA in International Affairs with High Honors from Princeton University, where he represents his Class' membership in the Economics Department's Bendheim Center for Finance. He has served as a trustee of the Round Hill Community Church in Greenwich, CT, where he and his wife reside.
