About the Author:
JUDY COX lives with her husband and son in Ontario, Oregon. Her first novel, The Mystery of the Burmese Bandicoot, brings the wit and wisdom of her popular chapter books and picture books to middle-grade readers and draws on her own experiences as a teacher. Her picture book, "Don't Be Silly, Mrs. Millie!", was named one of the top ten children's books of the year by Time magazine in 2005. She is currently working on the next book about Frederick and Ishbu.
