Jim Svejda hosts the popular weekly American Public Radio show The Record Shelf, as well as the CBS Radio program On Film. In addition to his radio programs, he is the station manager for KUSC in Los Angeles.

Jim Svejda, when not exhuming dead conductors or lamenting the decline of standards among living ones on The Record Shelf, critiques cinema on his radio show On Film (KNX Los Angeles). He resides in Sierra Madre, California.
