The authors waste no time or space in this advanced player's guide. They jump right in with an analysis of game units and their tactics with little discussion of background. It's an information-rich resource, but it assumes that the reader already has a solid understanding of the game. So read your manual first. In fact, you're likely to get more out of this book if you first play the game and get a feel for its workings. You'll then find this book a high-powered source of information on conducting your campaigns and winning the game, mission by mission.
