About the Authors

Harold Holzer is cochairman of the 2009 U.S. Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission and senior vice president at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is the author or editor of twenty-three books on Lincoln and the Civil War, most recently Lincoln at Cooper Union, which won a 2005 Lincoln Prize.

REBECCA MORRIS is an award-winning journalist who has worked in broadcast and print journalism in New York City; Portland, Oregon; and Seattle, Washington.

Dave Walker is a cartoonist. He has had cycling cartoons published by Cycling Weekly, CTC and others. Dave has had a weekly cartoon in Church Times since 2005.
