From the Back Cover:
Founded in 1635 on the banks of the Connecticut River, Hartford is New England's oldest inland settlement. It's a city rich in historic landmarks, museums, and cultural artifacts, exquisitely captured here by Connecticut photographer Jack McConnell. These twenty postcards reveal the beauty of Hartford's heritage from colonial era houses and old-fashioned carousels to unique secret gardens. Each postcard is yours to treasure, to share, or to send.
