PreSchool-Four board books featuring an elephant, Olaf, and a mouse, Venus. On the left side of each spread, an object is placed on a white background, with one word underneath it. On the facing page, the two animals are shown engaging in some activity that includes the object. Sometimes these items are related to the topic but often it is a stretch of the imagination to get the connection. Car features a porcupine, a plane, a bird, and, at the final destination, a beach. In Home, objects represented are a door, chair, bed, telephone, bathtub, bed, and cheese. In Park, a squirrel, dog, statue, pond, grass, and a boy in a stroller are featured. In Shopping, Olaf is trying on big brown shoes while Venus is putting on little red ones. Babies and toddlers will enjoy looking for the items in the colorful illustrations with objects that are easy to identify.
