About the Author
B. G. Hennessy believes a good prayer begins with "Dear God, thank you" and ends with "Please God, help me." MY BOOK OF THANKS encourages children to recognize and appreciate the blessings in their own lives and to discover how the value of those blessings increases when they are shared.
Hiroe Nakata was born and grew up in Japan, where her grandfather encouraged her to draw. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, she now enjoys illustrating children’s books
