About the Author
Mary Murphy is the author-illustrator of I Kissed the Baby! as well as Utterly Lovely One, Panda Foo and the New Friend, and How Kind! She lives in Galway, Ireland.

K-Gr 1-This is an adorable compilation of animal parents and babies kissing, among them giraffes, mice, fish, even bees: "A bee kiss is fuzzy and buzzy...." Of course it is! The descriptions of the kisses will have kids giggling with delight: "An elephant kiss is long and toot-tooty...," and the lift-the-flap layout and bright colors will appeal to young hands and eyes.
