Dr. Savage, along with Professor Vogel, have developed conference workshops and presentations for topics on multimedia tools and applications as well as creating applications for several courses at UNHM. They developed and teach an introductory multimedia course as part of the University's CIS curriculum. From the early days of the Macintosh computer and HyperCard, they recognized the potential of multimedia for developing new forms of communication and instruction. As the technology and software tools have matured and become mainstream, they continue to explore the uses of multimedia for business, education, and person communication. Their text, An Introduction to Digital Multimedia, emerges from over 12 years of work with digital media and reflects their fascination with the potential of digital media as a revolutionary communication medium.
