About the Author

Karen Ferrell taught geometry at Northwest High School in Justin, TX, and was an Instructional Technology Coordinator for the district. She is also winner of the Texas 2005-2006 Adult and Community Education Outstanding Instructor Award. Karen retired from teaching in 2009 to pursue writing full time.
