Synopsis
This revised and updated manual provides extensive practice and review in all test areas of the PPST, including the Computerized PPST and the Paper-Based PPST. The book presents three model tests, including the Computerized PPST, with all questions answered and explained. The book features test-taking strategies for multiple-choice and essay questions, along with extensive multiple-choice practice and model essays. The PPST assesses teacher candidates' skills in reading comprehension, fundamental math, English grammar, and writing. The book's additional features include teacher certification requirements for each state, along with specific strategies for achieving a required score.

The PPST has been discontinued and replaced by the Praxis Core test (5712, 5722, 5732).
Great Preparation for Core tests is found in the just released
Barron's PRAXIS, 7th Edition: CORE/PLT.
I recommend that book.
The Core tests are different in many ways from the PPST. There have been major changes to other Praxis tests including the PLT and the Elementary Multiple Subjects tests.
Many Praxis books are completely out of date. Praxis books published before 2014 should just be crossed off your list. I will be pleased to respond to any questions or comments.
