Synopsis
A colorful board book that introduces conscious breathing to the youngest reader through simple instructions and identifiable activities such as spinning a pinwheel, and counting from 1-5
Take a big breath in and let a big breath out is the mantra of this interactive board book that teaches conscious breathing to children (and adults, by extension) through everyday actions like smelling flowers and blowing bubbles.
These identifiable activities make the concept of mindful breathing accessible to toddlers and easy to learn and practice. The interactive spread with five lift-the-flaps reinforces fundamental counting skills from 1 to 5 and the basic breathing techniques presented.
The reassuring ending reminds children that everything will be okay, because when things get rough they will know to first huff and then puff.

About the Authors
Victoria Remmel is the creator of children's books, including Bipolar Bear (Schiffer Kids, 2019). Introducing mindful breathing, yoga, and meditation to her little ones means they can all enjoy it as a family, and she hopes you can share those tools with your family as well. She currently lives in southeastern Texas with her husband and their two sons.
