This guide covers installation and configuration of Red Hat 5.0. The first part of the book details how to install Red Hat and set up a simple network. Later sections describe how to set up Samba for a shared Linux-Windows 95 network and how to set up an Internet connection. It also includes a section on network administration and security.
For those users who want to use the Red Hat version of Linux, this book is an excellent resource. The included CD-ROM contains Red Hat 5.0, an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client, the Apache Web Server, numerous Unix applications, and programming tools.
