Learning about the Net doesn't get any easier than in this addition to the 3-D Visual Series from IDG. With its full-color illustrations and extremely brief text, Internet and World Wide Web Simplified is perfect for beginners. It starts with an introduction to the Internet, which explains what the Net has to offer, who pays for it, how it got started, and how you can get connected. The book then moves on to discuss the World Wide Web, browsers, plug-ins, security issues, Java, ActiveX, and VRML in simple terms.
