Elaine has authored or coauthored more than 30 books about software, including Project, Word for Windows, Word for the Mac, Quicken for Windows, Quicken for DOS, 1-2-3 for Windows, Lotus Notes, and Excel. Elaine is a contributing editor to the monthly magazines Peachtree Extra and QuickBooks Extra.
Elaine left her native Chicago for the warmer climes of Florida (by way of Cincinnati, Ohio; Jerusalem, Israel; Ithaca, New York; and Washington, D.C.) where she basks in the sun with her PC, her dog, Josh, and her cats, Cato, Watson, and Buddy.
